Sunday
NYPD (Newcraigs Young People’s Discipleship)
Bible teaching geared towards secondary school age youngsters. This takes place during the main teaching segment of the Family Service, and is currently held in a church member’s home near to the church. The youth arrive for the main service and leave during the service. These sessions normally follow set material and cover a variety of Bible and topical subjects presented in an engaging exciting and relevant way.
Every second Wednesday
YAP (Youth Alternative Prayer)
Again held on a rotational basis around the homes, this activity sees many of our young people meeting regularly to engage in prayer for themselves, their peers and the issues that relate directly to them both within the life of the church and externally. They find these sessions invaluable for their own spiritual wellbeing, both in order to build themselves and others up and also being encouraged by realising that their prayers can make a real difference. Any teenager wishing to join with this group should telephone the Church for details on 01592 204405.
Friday
YF
This is a varied programme of social and spiritual activities, during which the young people enjoy fellowship fun and food. Again, telephone for details.
Monthly
The Mix
This is an event at which several Kirkcaldy churches and churches from further afield join together for an evening of praise, worship, challenge and fellowship. There is normally an invited speaker or singer and these evenings often provide an evangelistic opportunity.
